AAEON announced the addition of the RTC-700R, a 7” Rugged tablet to its family of Rugged Mobile Devices. Being the lightest portable rugged tablet computer available in the marketplace. RTC-700R weighs in at only 570g (1.26 lbs), and powered by the NVIDIA® TEGRA™2 Dual Core Processor running the Android™ v3.2 operating system and an intuitive Graphic User Interface. RTC-700R offers utility and field service workforces greater convenience and comfort, than larger bulky tablets including richer features over smaller handheld devices. The design features protection against shock and vibration, water, dust along with a scratchproof LCD. The RTC-700R is well suited for field service, law enforcement, defense, public sector, utilities logistics, healthcare, restaurants and retail management.

The RTC-700R Android™-based 7” rugged tablet provides six to eight hours of battery life, WXGA high resolution TFT LCD display with anti-scratch Gorilla™ glass a projected Capacitive Multi-Touch Panel for best viewing and operating experience. It also features an NVIDIA® TEGRA™2, 1.0GHz dual core processor which allows for a myriad of multimedia rich applications and features. RTC-700R is IP65 rated for ingress protection, making it fully resistant to dust and water. It is MIL-STD-810G compliant from vibration, shock and four-foot drops, with extreme operating temperature range. Equipped with a G-sensor, light sensor, E-compass and GPS navigation, front and rear camera, and micro SD card slot, a great number of applications can be realized when applied with different applications.
